Neue Pinakothek Museum

The Neue Pinakothek is one of several popular art museums in Munich Germany.  It focuses on art from the 18th and 19th century.

Works by Francisco de Goya, Thomas Gainsborough, Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet and many others are on display at the gallery.

The Neue Pinakothek Museum is located in the Kunstareal district of Munich (the art district).  It is not far from the Alte Pinakothek Museum.

The building that currently houses the museum was opened in 1981.
